Brownlie vs ChernousUnderdog Filipino Junmar Dulog (6–19–2 3KOs) scored the upset of the night with a 4th round TKO over current NSW Welterweight Champion Anthony Brownlie (4–4). The southpaw Dulog was able to negate Brownlie’s height and reach advantages and land his bombs to register the upset defeat. Brownlie was down in the 2nd round from a right hook. He once again was knocked down in the 3rd round from a straight left. As soon as the bell rang for the 4th round, Dulog charged across the ring and landed another straight left that dropped Brownlie. The referee did not even bother to count and immediately stopped the fight at 6 seconds into the 4th round.
Brownlie had 2 further bouts planned for the month of May including an anticipated defense of his NSW title against Victor Chernous. However but both fights will need to be postponed as Brownlie serves a 1 month medical suspension.
